2/10 written in blue sharpie on shaft - Probably for the 2/10/2007 game against the New York Rangers.

The knob has his number 8 and an L right below it.

This item was auctioned off as part of the Hearts for Hogoboom fundraising event on Saturday, March 3rd, 2007. The items for this event were obtained by Audrius Zubrus, a Senior Regional Sales Manager with the Washington Capitals hockey team, and his brother Dainius Zubrus, who plays with the Washington Capitals. Last year, Roger Hogoboom was diagnosed with having a rare, and aggressive, form of brain cancer.
